Spring, are you coming this year?

Spring Sunday, Winter Monday. Gotta love New England! Just when I started thinking about bicycling again, the cold hit. Good news for those non-winter lovers is that Spring is coming soon. Bad news for people like me that love the cold!

I took a walk out back this morning to see how the barn was holding up. Good news! It still stands! Bad news is that it probably won't make it another winter, especially if we have another winter like we're enduring now! It is insured, but I really don't feel like sifting through all the rubble. Soon we will be hosting a "moving event" once the snow leaves and the road out back to the bike barn dries out. The goal would be to move everything in a day to the new shop space in Keene.

Can't wait! Until then, bundle up and enjoy the sun today!

Winter is here, so we're slowing down a bit. Plans are int he works for a downtown location opening up mid-winter/ springish or so, but in the mean time, stay of those bicycles! I'm still in construction mode, and soon switching gears to ski mode, but the rest of you should get out and enjoy the bike! Have fun!

Winning Campaigns (Bike!) conference

I just came off the radio on WKVT AM 1490/1220 with Steve West. Thank you Steve for being such a great host and for allowing me to talk on the radio about the Co-op and what our plans are! Hopefully some more people out there heard about the Co-op. The more the better!

Bike collections have begun for 2010

I will be heading out to various peoples homes next week with my van to collect bicycles and parts, anyone care to join? Many hands (and vans!) make light work. Yesterday's article in the Keene Sentinel ( http://www.sentinelsource.com/articles/2010/05/20/news/local/free/id_401276.txt ) has really drummed up support for the Co-op in Keene! (Thanks Dave E!)

I truly appreciate all the response we have received so far, and I will be contacting everyone who emailed me shortly to help develop a little more of a "game plan"

Monday Night Sprinters Club in Keene!

5:30pm at the Monadnock View Cemetery on Park
Ave. next to Yankee Lanes bowling. (I'll be there at 5:00pm getting in
some laps)
Like the time trial this is for fun. We need to heed to all people
using this area. I do not want to cause trouble.
A few races would be say 15 laps, or Miss and out- riders would do 3
laps, then the following laps who ever crosses the line last will be
pulled till there is a winner! That ones real fun! And some sort of
timed event.
Any one who has some ideas are more than welcome to have it your way!!
A little help might be needed with time/lap counting so every one
could get in a couple races that night.
We will race till we can't see the pavement (darkness has fallen and
Alice Cooper appears) Not..

Come on out and we'll see what we can do!!
